Day 4- Sleeping beauty :)

I have a feeling I am going to get a lot of these with her... babies just look so precious when they sleep.

Day 3- Brown-eyed girl :)

Whenever I hear the song "Brown-eyed girl" it reminds me of my Riley! She is such a sassafrass lately, but then gives me looks like this and melts my heart!



Another thing about this picture is that this girl will not keep her clothes on! I don't know if she will ever grow out of this stage?! She loves helping me fold clothes (which was what I was doing before she distracted me) but not wear them!!

Day 2- Closed!

So Day 2 turned out to be a sad one. I told the kids that if they were good in Wal-Mart (which never pans out) that they would get to use their Magical Moon Toys gift card from great grandma! They were actually pretty good! So I drove them over there, unloaded them out of the car and took this picture of them holding the cards in front of the toy store... just to go up to the door with two very excited kids and find out IT'S CLOSED!! But their neon sign was all lit up like they were there. Apparently they took Jan.2 off too... Boo on them!

Day 1- The beginning

Oh man... what am I getting myself into here?! I have seen a couple friends do this 365 day challenge (Suzanne thanks for the inspiration)... a picture every day for one year. I have contemplated doing it myself for the past couple years and I am finally taking the plunge! I can't promise they will all be amazing shots... most of them taken with my little point and shoot I am sure! haha But I guess that's the whole point!! I need to take the time to document my life too! I have 3 little reasons why... and that makes it all worth it!

So here's picture numero uno! I kind of feel like this snowman a lot these days... three kids, a house and a business to take care of! But I need to find the humor in everything to make the journey more fun :)

And here's the door from whence (yeah i just said whence) my header came! I LOVE it! It totally says "THE SHACK" on it!! One of my new favorite locations!
